Stewardship is the wise and just use of God’s creation. It involves the Church’s finances, of course, but it is much more than that. Stewardship is serving God by giving of ourselves in the form of our treasure, time and talent. We make an annual financial pledge to the Church budget. We dedicate our time to put our talents to use in various ministries of the church. We make plans for gifts to the church that reach beyond our individual lifetimes. Stewardship also includes being good to our environment. In learning about Stewardship, we seek to understand how best to use our own resources and those of this world in pursuit of God’s kingdom.
