In 2015, after months of prayer and research, a small group at St. Luke’s created a service of Evening Prayer with Renaming and Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows. This service was created as part of our congregation’s response to, and support of, a member who was transitioning from female to male.

Parish members and friends were invited to gather on the anniversary of John’s baptism to liturgically acknowledge the changes in his life and God’s consistency throughout.
