HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS
Through may generous contributions to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund, St. Luke’s has been able to make a real difference in our neighbor’s lives through this pandemic.  Our neighbors continue to need help with basics of housing, food, and transportation.  We’ve been able to cover a number of needs large and small recently, but are now running low on funds.  If you are able to support this work, please send a check or ACS donation for “discretionary fund.”  Thank you!

SATURDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
There will be a food distribution at El Buen Pastor (1852 Liberty St) this Saturday from 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM.  Join the team Episcopal volunteers for a few hours or the whole morning. Many hands are needed and you will meet lots of neighbors from the East Durham community.
Bring gloves and flexibility, or contact Peter Jacobi for more information.

FALL NEWSLETTER
We are beginning to put together a fall newsletter which will arrive in people’s home in early September.  If you have photos or articles that should be included, please send them to Kathy by August 18th.

CONTACT UPDATES
Up-to date contact information can be found online at ACS, or the ChurchLife App for your phone or tablet.  Contact Kathy if you have any problems logging onto ACS.  You can also ask Kathy to send you a paper directory if needed.
