| NEXT STEP WORSHIP PLANS After reviewing the May Parish Survey, our vestry decided besides weekly online worship we will offer in-person worship on the first and third Sundays in June (6th and 20th). Our 8:30 worship services will be behind the Gray Building, with pre-set chairs. They will include singing, eucharist, and a sermon at the end of worship. Social distance of 6 ft, masks optional. Our 9:30 worship services will be indoors. They will include singing, eucharist and a sermon at the end of worship. Social distance of 6ft, masks required. We are awaiting updated diocesan guidelines next week before we create sign-ups for these services. BELATED DEACON DAN SENDING Deacon Dan Laird retired from St. Luke’s about a year ago. At that time, we held a virtual Coffee Hour in his honor, but we were not able to give him a sending prayer. A year later, Dan will join us for our 9:30 in person service on June 6th for his belated sending prayer. If you would like to send a note or card to help send him on his way to Albuquerque, you may send it to his attention at St. Luke’s, 1737 Hillandale Rd, Durham NC 27705. Please send your notes by the 29th. PENTECOST WAY OF LOVE REVIVAL Presiding Bishop Curry’s online Pentecost Revival is at 4pm this Sun, May 23rd! The Pentecost Way of Love Revival Worship Service will be aired on the Episcopal Church’s various web channels, including Facebook and www.episcopalchurch.org |

| CROASDAILE EUCHARISTS RESUME St. Luke’s will begin offering a Eucharist Service in the chapel of Croasdaile Retirement Village on the 4th Tuesdays at 11am. If you are a Croasdaile resident, Helen looks forward to seeing you there! GARDEN/GROUNDS WORKDAYS FOR 2021 All workdays begin at 7:30 and last until 10:00 or as long as you can stay. | EL BUEN PASTOR FOOD DISTRIBUTION St. Luke’s members and friends (16 years and older) are encouraged to help with the monthly food distribution out of El Buen Pastor. Distributions are normally from 7:30-12:30 (come all or just part of the time) on the 1st Saturday of the month. For more info, please contact Peter Jacobi who is a regular St. Luke’s participant. Next Date: May 29th. KEEP CLERGY IN THE LOOP Please make sure to keep the clergy in the loop if there are any needs or concerns you have or you know about. You can e-mail Helen at any time.
