ADVENT SUPPLY PICK-UP NOV 22 All Things Advent: Even though we cannot be together to build our Advent wreaths, we will still have supplies for everyone who would like to engage in the season of Advent, so find those wreath forms and get ready! Your All Things Advent package will have lots of ideas and materials to use as we all try to slow down and enter this season of waiting and hoping. Pick up your package on Sunday, Nov. 22 between 3:00-4:30pm at church. Someone will be there to greet you, so you can drive through with your mask on. Anyone who attends the in-person worship on Nov 22 can pick up then. If you are not able to pick up your Advent package, please email the church office or call and leave a message and we will arrange delivery for you. |

GROUNDS AND GARDEN WORK DAY Come one, come all! The final St. Luke’s 2020 Grounds & Gardens Workday is Saturday, November 7th from 8:30 until 10:00. There is something for everyone, whether it’s clearing leaves from the labyrinth, cleaning the Memorial walls, deadheading the huge Lantanas or gazing with wonder at our blooming Yuletide Sasanqua Camellias. (Yes, the two shrubs by the Sprague doors are covered in blooms!) Please bring hand pruners and long handle pruners if you have them. WATCH ON YOUTUBE Our worship services can now be seen on YouTube! St. Luke’s new YouTube channel,St. Luke’s Durham Worship and Music, is up and running and contains videos of our Sunday morning worship as well as some St. Luke’s music videos. Each week’s service is available for viewing on Sunday mornings and can be seen anytime thereafter. (Weekly sermons are still accessible through our website and Facebook page.) We have over 100 subscribers to our new page! A search with “St. Luke’s Durham” should bring up the page, or you can go there directly. Be sure and subscribe and “like” (thumbs up) the channel or individual videos, and feel free to leave comments. |
